Baltimore, MD Scrap Metal Prices

Baltimore is the largest city in Maryland, with a population that’s close to 600, 000 residents. The city, which is the 30th largest city in the United States, lies on the northern regions of the state.

Also referred to as “The Charm City,” Baltimore is the home to the National Anthem. It has a unique culture, distinct neighbourhoods, and notable landmarks that attracts thousands of visitors to the city. Notable ones include the Inner Harbor, National Aquarium, and the Emerson Bromo-Seltzer Tower.

Initially, the economy relied purely on manufacturing of steel. After an economic crisis, the city decided to diversify, and other than being a major manufacturing center, Baltimore is now a tech, trade, and mining hub, all of which provide huge job opportunities to residents.

Since the market for scrap metal is evident, you can already see that starting such a business is profitable. The city has many scrap yards, and facilities will offer good money for metals such as copper, gold, and silver.

Best Scrap Yards in Baltimore

We investigated scrap yards in Baltimore and got a few that we think would be suitable places to take your materials. Our favorite dealer is Baltimore Scrap Corporation located on 3000 Vera Street. Although the facilities closes early, they have efficient services and the prices are good.

You can also take your materials to WPN Recycling Company if you are around Andard Avenue.  The facility opens on Sunday and they have knowledgeable staff.

Good places in the central regions of Baltimore would be Decker’s Salvage, located in Berlin Street. You can also take your materials to Real Scrap on Elmira Street, Sims Metal, Atlantic Recycling Group, or Berg Recycling.

If you are around the northeastern parts of Baltimore, there’s another Sims Metal facility on 4300 Pulaski Highway. You can also take your junk vehicle to LKQ Pick Your Part on Erdman Avenue, or Maryland Core on 6519 Quad Avenue.

Please avoid Canton Metal Recycling, as they are unreliable in terms of customer service.
